Hi Guus, apologies for the delay in replying… Apparently it is very difficult to export/import explosives these days… the ever-present terrorist threat I suppose! However, you would probably stand a better chance if you contact the chinese firework manufacturers directly… there are a fair few on the internet, and they are geared-up for exports with all the required paperwork etc. ‘Great Wall Fireworks’ are one of the more reputable, but there is a huge choice. They would probably be a lot cheaper too! (Though I don’t know whether you would have to pay import duty etc). Good luck Guus, and thanks for visiting our site.

Hi… well, the short answer is that I don’t know! I will try to find out if we can send fireworks to you in Penang, and get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks for visiting the site, and if there is any way we can get fireworks to you (legally, of course! lol) then we will. Have a great day.

Hi, and thank you for your email.
)
We will of course be delighted to shoot your firework display for you on Sunday evening, and there will indeed be someone in the shop on Sunday, at which time we can get further details from you.
Although we shoot the fireworks with professional wireless remote control systems, we also have a smaller ‘hand-held’ system (similar in size to a TV remote control unit), which gives you (or someone else) the chance to actually start the firework display by shooting the first firework of the show! The remote is effective up to 100 metres from the fireworks, and is entirely safe – and easy – to use… requiring the simple press of a button. We would then shoot the rest of the display with our bigger remote system.
The same remote can also be set-up to light the ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ set piece by you – if you so wish. (It isn’t compulsory
We look forward to meeting you on Sunday, when we can discuss things in a little more detail.
Assuring you of our best attention at all times…

hie…. i am in india,… i would like to gift my fiance a special msg… in fireworks… is it possible for you to courier me something till the 8th of march 2011…. the message would be ” thank you for coming in my life…. ” and kindly tell me the cost… thanks
Mr.b 12:07 pm on March 7, 2012 Permalink |
Hi Anisha… the bad news is that it simply isn’t viable to send the lancework set-up to you. Each message is hand-made, and then attached to a template frame. The whole set-up would be incredibly expensive to send to you, as it would need to be fully set-up, and would therefore be full-size. It would also be very fragile. It simply isn’t viable. HOWEVER… the GOOD news is that India has some firework companies of its own… and they may well be able to provide you with your lancework message. I have put the internet addresses of a couple of companies underneath. I hope they can help you with your very romantic gesture. Good Luck Anisha.

Hi my gf and I are staying at Baanhinsai resort in May and are wondering where the best place to set and let off a small display of consumer fireworks would be and what regulations you have? last time i was in Sumui the resort manager said as long as i picked up the rubbish after letting off my fireworks and putting it in the bin i would be fine. I would be looking to spend up to 3000 Baht. Cheers
Mr.b 9:42 pm on April 13, 2012 Permalink |
Hi Davin… there are many public beaches on Samui where you can shoot your fireworks… bearing in mind – of course – safety first! If you contact us just before you come to Samui we can make sure you get the best value for your hard-earned cash, and explain to you how you and where you can shoot your fireworks safely, and without endangering or setting fire to any local beauty spots, resorts, or – indeed – people! Safety first… safety second… safety third!! Look forward to hearing from you soon Davin. (BTW… are you from Yorkshire by any chance?
)) Have a great day Davin…. Alan & La-on

Mr.b 9:46 pm on April 13, 2012 Permalink |
Pretty much anything is possible these days… as long as you have the money!! lol Sorry to say that it would cost a fortune to send the lancework over to you… including the framework that would be required to spell out the words I estimate a weight of around 150+ kilos!!! (ouch!)… You got the dosh… we got the goods! lol Good luck with the girlfriend project!!!

Hello, we are coming to thailand in november.
I am from holland and have experience with lighting shells.
Would like to now if it is possible to do a workshop en lighting fireworks in Samui?
I am crazy about fireworks and would like to learn more, greetings vincent
Mr.b 2:12 pm on July 15, 2012 Permalink |
Hi Vincent, and thanks for writing. We don’t actually hold ‘workshops’ as such, but we are more than happy to help you in any way we can… particularly if it means having some ‘firework fun’ with a fellow pyromaniac such as yourself!!!
The Firework Shop has its own section on ‘Pyromaniacs.com’ – a Dutch website, and the biggest (and best!) firework website in the world – so you can find out a little more about us on there. I must say Vincent, that we are ‘babies’ compared to some of our Dutch pyro-friends, but it is always great to meet fellow pyromaniacs from Holland, and learn from each other… we look forward to seeing you in November my friend… until then, keep smiling and thinking about all the firework fun that you are going to have when you get here! lol

HI there guys,
Im surprising my girlfriend with a trip to Thailand in September and while we are over there I plan on proposing to her On the 13th of September.
I saw on you package page that you had a picture of a love heart and marry me in fire works. Are you able to provide this and if so how much would it cost. What I had in mind is that we are dining on the roof top resturant of our hotel the banyan tree in Sathon and during the meal im going to propose with 100 red rose and all the works. I was just looking for somethig that little bit special so that she can really remember the moment.
so a few questions I have are how much space do you need to set up, would you be able to do it on a roof top or if not how high do your fire works go. Also I read on your website under the questions and answers section that you are able to have a wifi remote so that the customer can trigger the fire work to go off is this avaible since i would be an easy way for me to have them go off when i want them to. Also Your page says that you can send your team out to set up and take care of everything, Id love for this to be the case because there is plenty of other things for me to be worrying about on that day.
Sorry about all the questions thanks for your help in this matter and your time.

Hi Morgan… what a lovely romantic idea!
The standard sized heart is approx. 1 metre high and costs 950 baht. The letters come in different sizes… 50 cms high (standard) @ 300 baht each… 60 cms high @ 400 baht each… and 80 cms high @ 550 baht each. Unless you are a long way away the 50 or 60 cms letters are usually eaasily big enough to be seen. I think the best thing is for us to take a visit to the Banyan Tree and see what would be the best options for you. We will get back to you over the next couple of days… how does that sound to you?
